Supporting Toddlers through the transition of welcoming a new sibling
Introducing a new member to the family can be both an exciting and challenging time. The 'smoothness" of this transition often depends on the temperament type of your older child/children. 'Sleep regressions' and separation anxiety can often be triggered temporarily by changes to what little one's consider to be normal. A new baby sibling and a shuffle in family dynamics acts as a HUGE change, and therefore it is completely normal for sleep to regress as a result.
Your toddler doesn’t need A LOT. In fact, supporting them through this stage can actually be more organic than you may think!
